Imy is the Artistic Director of Swings & Roundabouts, a production company hosting new writing nights at Southwark Playhouse in aid of Shelter UK. Her directing credits include Happy Yet? by Katie Berglof, (Edinburgh Fringe: 2016, The Courtyard:2017, International Theatre, Frankfurt:2018),  Walk Swiftly and With Purpose by Siofra Dromgoole (Edinburgh Fringe: 2018, Theatre503:2018, The North Wall: 2019), Flux by Naomi Soneye-Thomas (Leyton Technical:2018), Edgar and Annabel (Bedlam Theatre: 2015).

In addition, she has participated in a number of new writing nights at theatres such as Old Red Lion, Arcola Theatre, The Space and Southwark Playhouse. She worked as a director on Charles Entsie’s script  NSA for The Mono Box’s PLAYSTART (The Biscuit Factory: 2018) and is currently working on a rehearsed reading of We The People by Eleanor Ross at Etc. Theatre. She is also a script reader for The Hampstead Theatre!


Polly Creed is an award-winning young director, writer, and activist. Her work focuses on themes of gender, social justice, and climate change. 


Polly is a founder of Power Play, a theatre company and think tank that carries out original data research around gender inequality in the arts, as well as programming new work by women. Power Play's debut site-specific showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe 2018 won a Fringe First for Emma Dennis-Edward's play, Funeral Flowers (print copy available here), and was listed as one of Lyn Gardner's picks of the Fringe in The Independent. In 2018-19, Power Play are carrying out a pioneering study into gender inequality in UK theatre, looking at over 60 theatres across the UK. 

Polly's activist and theatrical work has been featured in various papers and platforms, including The Independent, The Scotsman, The Stage, and  The Guilty Feminist podcast. Meanwhile her writing has been shortlisted for a Sit Up Award and won Best New Writing at LSDF 2018. She has recently founded, True Name, a theatre company specialising in ecological and social theatre, and is currently working on a new collaboration with Plan B, the London College of Communication, Theatre 198 and The Tate, focusing on issues around climate change. The project will be taking place at The Tate Modern in July 2019. 


Lizze is a production manager and producer who thrives on creating interdisciplinary production experiences. Lizze has gained experience in a variety of technical roles across the lighting, sound and set departments in theatres all over London, including RADA studios, Shaw Theatre, Camden People’s Theatre and the Adelphi Theatre. In 2018, she produced the award winning show The Empty Chair, which was performed in the Pleasance Islington and The Duchess Theatre in the West End. Following this success she collaborated with Power Play Theatre activists as an Associate Producer and helped to bring a site specific showcase of 4 pieces of new writing to Edinburgh Fringe 2018. She is currently collaborating with Thank You Dark theatre company as a producer for Without That Certain Thing, a darkly comedic tribute to film noir theatre, which is running at the Vaults festival 2019.
